I grew up in this industry. Some of my fondest memories are driving to work with my father and his guys in the back of his van sitting on a tool box. Summers & weekends were spent cleaning up around his job sites or helping him prep the job for the next incoming trade. I was my father’s gopher, his labor, and his eyes in the field. I was scolded often for not asking enough questions about procedures and then told to be quiet and listen as a complex problem was discussed between professionals. I came to realize I loved this dynamic industry and I thrived with the daily challenges that were encountered. I told my father when I was 13 that someday I was going to take over his business. As a team member, it was a given that we would always push ourselves to the limit in order to make sure that RL Builders was considered synonymous with quality and integrity. I believe, we are one of the best most organized and quality builders in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, Bar None! We have the confidence to attack any challenge with expertise in construction processes and real world common sense experience. We find it necessary to be blunt and may not tell a client everything they want to hear but what they need to hear to make an informed educated decision. Custom construction is only limited by the knowledge of different unique resources to fit a clients design concepts or with the clients’ budget to afford what they want . This honesty pays off and we have clients who call us back time and time again for referrals for their friends and family or to participate in other projects they do. We are real builders who stay on the job managing and lead by example being the first on the site to open up and the last to leave every night. We are told by our sub-contractors that unlike most of the builders they work with, we can be relied upon to get what they need to do their jobs when they need it. This gets the building done on time and saves money. I personally live to serve in the best interests of my clients and will go out of my way to make sure they get everything they expect when they sign my contract. I believe we offer the best service, the best standard features, and the quickest turnaround time from blueprint to completion than anyone in our market.
